Jim Jones may be heading to the podcast world.
The Harlem rapper has been teasing his first foray into podcasting, showing footage of his new studio on social media.
“Don’t get scared now new Pod cast on th[e] way,” Jones wrote in the caption on Instagram. “I done made all yal pod cast hott time to take my spot back lol lol lol lol.”
“Is y’all ready for my podcast? Because none of you could talk more sh*t than me, I promise you that,” he continued. “This is actually one of the podcast setups we have in the facility that’s here for rent,” he continued.
“I know y’all got nervous,” he added. “You never know what might could happen. I might just do one for fun.”
If Jones becomes a podcast host, he’s sure to attract a large audience as he loves to share his controversial views on any topic. Recently, Jones claimed that he has more Billboard hits than Nas.
“My son can’t tell me one Nas record,” Jones said of Nas’ reach.. “There must be some type of misconception when it comes to Jim Jones and what Jim Jones has done in this game. A lot of these rappers have done a tremendous job. And I take nothing away from them. But they forget, I got a hell of a catalog. Gold records, platinum records. … Check my track record. Then check everybody else’s track record.”
He also said that he was responsible for Nas going viral for the first time since his feud with JAY-Z.
“What I did for Nas probably never been done for him in his life. He’s never been that viral at all. Ever,” Jones claimed. “Ever. He’s never been talked about like this ever in his life.”
